Why has the “Passive Entry” setting (Comfort Access feature) been deactivated on my smartphone?

Following an update to your smartphone’s operating system, certain settings for the MINI Digital Key might have been reset or deactivated. In this case, the “Passive Entry” function (Comfort Access feature) might be temporarily unavailable. As a result, your vehicle might not unlock automatically as you approach it, for example. Please check the MINI Digital Key settings on your smartphone to activate the “Passive Entry” function (Comfort Access feature) if necessary.

The availability of individual features depends on the model, equipment, market, smartphone model and software version.
