When your MINI is delivered, you will receive various MINI access cards, depending on the model, equipment and production date. These may include:
- MINI Key Card for vehicles with a production date between March 2024 and July 2025
- Service Card for vehicles with a production date of July 2025 or later
- MINI Setup for the activation of the MINI Digital Key or MINI Digital Key Plus for vehicles with a production date of July 2025 or later

Note: For safety reasons, an activated physical or digital Key Card should not be kept in the vehicle. This particularly applies to the MINI Key Card and to smartphones or smartwatches on which the MINI Digital Key or MINI Digital Key Plus has been set up, as otherwise unauthorised access to the vehicle could be possible. The MINI Setup should also not be left in the vehicle once it is set up.
