Why am I being asked to set up the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant again after a software update?

In MINI vehicles with MINI Operating System 9, the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant may need to be set up again one time only after a software update.

During setup, the updated Terms of Use are displayed to which you must agree in order to continue using the service. To do this, simply press the microphone button on the steering wheel and follow the instructions in the vehicle. Once setup is complete, you can use the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant as usual and enjoy the latest voice functions and an enhanced user experience.
