Can I test the emergency call in my MINI?

Yes. You can test the emergency call in your MINI. After pressing the emergency call button, a voice contact to the MINI emergency call centre is established. This takes about 5 seconds. During this time, you can end the call manually. As soon as the voice connection is established, you cannot terminate the call yourself for security reasons. Inform the person you are talking to that this is a test call. If you do not answer the MINI employee's questions, he or she will assume an emergency situation and notify the nearest emergency response centre of an accident.

Available in MINI models with production from 03/2018 with the option "Intelligent emergency call" (SA 6AC) or "Legal Emergency Call" (SA 6AF) ex works, depending on the country of delivery.
