Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) in the MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) shows you the current traffic flow on main and secondary roads through colour indicators along these roads:
Green = clear road
Yellow = dense traffic
Orange = stagnant traffic
Red = congestion
Black = blocking
The data sources for real time traffic information are anonymised movement profiles from the mobile communications network, GPS data from vehicle fleets, police reports and data from transport infrastructure facilities.
