How well is my MINI protected against cyber attacks?

The hardware and software architectures of the installed systems used in BMW Group vehicles meet the highest requirements for security and data protection. The protection against hacking and viruses is ensured by cryptographic methods on the one hand, and through design measures such as the fact that certain accesses are read-only on the other. Other measures include the isolation of software components and the separation of vehicle networks by so-called gateways.
