How do I create a passkey for my MINI ID on my smartphone?

To log in to MINI apps and MINI web pages with a passkey, you must create it once for your MINI ID on your smartphone. On the MINI web page of your country, click on the profile icon in the navigation bar and log in with your MINI ID login data. Select the profile icon again and then: "My profile" > "Account data" > "Passkeys" > "Create passkey". Enter the password for your MINI ID and confirm your entry with "Create passkey". Select "Use smartphone or tablet". Scan the QR code and follow the instructions on your mobile device. Passkeys created are saved on your smartphone in the "Passwords" menu. You must authorise each use of your passkey with biometric data or a PIN. Please note: Your smartphone must support passkeys.
