Why is the message "Distance Control deactivated" displayed in my MINI?

If the message "Distance Control deactivated" appears in the instrument cluster of your MINI or in the MINI Head-up display, this may be due to temporary restrictions of the camera, e.g. due to extreme weather conditions or a heavily polluted windscreen, depending on the production date and the optional equipment booked for your MINI.
