Why are the tyres of my MINI shown in grey in the tyre inflation pressure indicator?

If the tyres of your MINI are shown in grey in the tyre inflation pressure indicator in the control display, the tyre inflation pressure cannot be detected. Either the system is currently performing a reset to measure tyre inflation pressure or there is a malfunction.
