Parking Assistant includes Reversing Assistant, a Reversing Assist Camera, Active PDC (Park Distance Control), Lateral Parking Aid, parking-drive off monitoring and an emergency braking function to prevent parking damage. The vehicle recognises parking spaces as it passes and parks automatically if necessary.
Parking Assistant Plus (SA 5DN) additionally includes the functions parking view, Remote 3D View, Drive Recorder and Remote Theft Recorder. In conjunction with Parking Assistant Plus, your MINI shows you obstacles behind, in front of or next to the vehicle when the camera perspective is switched on during parking and leaving.
The Parking Assistant Professional (SA 5DW) also includes the Park Assist, Manoeuvre Assistant and Remote Control Parking functions. The Parking Assistant measures potential parking spaces as you drive past and announces them with an acoustic signal and visually in the MINI system (MINI Interaction Unit) when the parking view is activated. You can also control the Park Assist and Manoeuvre Assistant from outside your vehicle using the MINI App on your smartphone.
