Depending on the production date of your MINI, the following functional requirements apply: For parallel parking, the minimum length of a detected object (e.g. parked vehicle) must be approx. one metre, the minimum length of the gap between two objects corresponds to the vehicle's own length plus approx. 0.8 metres and the minimum depth is approx. 1.5 metres. For bay parking, the minimum length of a detected object (e.g. parked vehicle) must be approx. one metre, the minimum width of the gap corresponds to the vehicle's own width plus approx. 0.7 metres and the minimum depth corresponds to the vehicle's own length.
Park Assist is available for MINI models MINI Operating System 9 with the option "Parking Assistant" (SA 5DM), "Parking Assistant Plus" (SA 5DN) or "Parking Assistant Professional" (SA 5DW).
