Park Assist in your MINI supports you when parking in parking spaces parallel or perpendicular to the road. Park Assist measures a parking space with ultrasonic sensors when driving past at a maximum speed of 35 km/h and a maximum distance of 1.5 m from the row of parked vehicles. After Park Assist has detected a sufficiently large parking space, follow the instructions on the control display. You will then be prompted to engage reverse gear and release the brake. Park Assist then takes over the steering. You have to do the braking and accelerating yourself. During the parking process, you will receive supporting instructions on the control display and additional acoustic instructions. The end of the parking manoeuvre is shown on the control display.
The range of functions of Park Assist varies depending on the production date of your MINI and the optional equipment booked. Further information can be found in the MINI Driver’s Guide App or in the operating instructions for your MINI.
