Why does Park Assist in my MINI not detect a parking space?

Park Assist in your MINI cannot detect a parking space e.g. if the parking space is too short for safe parking, the lateral distance to the row of parked vehicles is greater than 1.5 m or if the ultrasonic sensors have functional limitations.
