Why does "Warning, restricted function of Park Distance Control" appear in my MINI?

The warning message "Warning, restricted function of Park Distance Control" is displayed in your MINI e.g. if one or more ultrasonic sensors of Park Distance Control are dirty or icy and the function is therefore restricted. Check the sensors on the front and rear bumpers and clean dirty sensors.
