What do the GREEN tip icons in the instrument cluster of my MINI with a MINI Controller mean?

The GREEN tip in your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) indicates that the driving style can be adapted to optimise fuel consumption, e.g. by reducing the speed. Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, the following GREEN tip icons are displayed in the instrument cluster: "Release accelerator pedal" (drive with anticipation, accelerate and decelerate moderately for an efficient driving style), "Reduce speed" (reduce speed to selected GREEN speed), "Steptronic transmission" (shift from M/S to D and avoid manual shifting). Additional icons in MINI models with manual transmission: "Follow the shift instructions" and "Engage neutral for engine shutdown".
