The charging power at an AC charging station (AC charging post, Wallbox or domestic socket outlet) depends on the maximum possible charging power of your MINI electric vehicle on the one hand and on the currently available charging power of the charging station on the other. In the vehicle, the following factors influence charging capacity: The state of charge, the age and temperature of the high-voltage battery, the set charging power or current strength or activated climate control at the departure time. The available charging power of the charging station can be temporarily reduced by a parallel charging process at the same station or by restrictions of the charging power at certain times. Many charging posts only provide maximum power after a few minutes.
