What do I need to consider when charging my MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle?

Please note the following when charging your MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle:
1. Switch off the engine and engage selector lever position "P" (park).
2. Adjust the current strength in advance if necessary.
3. Do not use an extension cable.
4. Always connect or disconnect the charging cable in this order:

Connecting 1. To charging station/socket, 2. To vehicle
Disconnecting 1. From vehicle, 2. From charging station/socket
