What can I do if the charging process of my MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle does not start?

If your MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle does not start charging, this can have different causes. In the vehicle or in the MINI App, make sure that the "Charge immediately" charging mode is activated. Often, an incorrectly plugged charging cable, not properly used adapters or charging accessories, or a fault in the charging station will prevent the charging process from starting. Also pay attention to contamination and damage to the charging plug and charging power socket on the vehicle.
