How does the MINI Flexible Charger (Mode 2) work?

To start up the Flexible Charger (Mode 2), first connect the appropriate adapter cable for your electrical connection to the charging module by plugging the plug into the connection until it snaps into place. Then place the charging module on the floor or use the wall bracket. Connect the adapter cable to the socket. Finally, plug the charging cable of the Flexible Charger (Mode 2) into the high-voltage charging socket of your MINI. A function check begins as soon as the LEDs on the charging module light up. While the maximum charging power is being produced, the display on the charging module flashes orange. As soon as the device is ready to charge, the light will turn blue. It flashes blue during the charging process. As soon as your MINI is fully charged, unlock the vehicle first and then remove the cable. Finally, remove the adapter cable from the socket. With the MINI App on your smartphone, you can check the state of charge. Please note: Have your domestic socket outlet, the wire and the fuse checked once by a qualified electrician before the first start-up of the Flexible Charger (Mode 2). Never use an extension cable between the Flexible Charger and the socket.
