How do I plug the charging cable of my MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle into a public charging station?

To prevent problems when starting the charging process of your MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle at a public charging station, MINI recommends that you first connect the charging cable to the charging station and only then to the vehicle.
