How do I best prepare my MINI electric vehicle for a longer journey?

For maximum range, you should charge the high-voltage battery of your MINI electric vehicle to 100 percent immediately before starting your journey. If the passenger area is to be preconditioned for departure, your MINI should be plugged in. With the "prepare battery" function, you can prepare your MINI electric vehicle for maximum charging power and thus the shortest possible charging time at DC charging stations on the road. The "prepare battery" function is available for fully electric MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 with software version 07/2024 or newer.
