What is the optimum state of charge for the service life of the high-voltage battery in my MINI electric vehicle?

MINI recommends a state of charge of between 10 and 80 percent to optimise the service life of the high-voltage battery of your MINI electric vehicle. A full charge to 100 percent is only recommended immediately before longer journeys. Parking phases with high states of charge are detrimental to the service life of the high-voltage battery. Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, you can set a charging target of e.g. 80% in the MINI system or in the MINI App. Should you need more range at some point, you can increase the charging target as required.
