Can I charge my MINI electric vehicle at public charging stations with Plug & Charge?

“Plug & Charge” is available in many European countries, in the USA and in Canada for all fully electric MINI models with Operating System 9.


If your MINI supports Plug & Charge, you can find more information in the MINI App at:

  1. Open the "Vehicle" tab.
  2. Select "Charge"
  3. Tap on "Plug & Charge" (in the "Help" section)

You can also access the information directly in your MINI vehicle at:

  1. Open the "Apps" menu.
  2. Select "Charge"
  3. Tap on "Plug & Charge"


Please note that you need a charging contract with MINI Charging or another charge current provider with the "Plug & Charge" option that you must save in your vehicle.
