How do I set a preferred time frame for charging my MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle?

To set a preferred time frame for charging your MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, select the following in the MINI system: Apps menu > "Charging" > "Charging mode" > "Time frame" and select a preferred time frame. In the MINI App, select: "Vehicle" (tab) > "Charge & Climate Timer" (Charging) > "Charging mode" > "Charge in time frame". The charging process can be started by the vehicle before the selected time frame or finished after the selected time frame. The starting point of the charging process is adjusted in order to achieve the highest possible charge of the high-voltage battery at the departure time and, if necessary, for climate control of the passenger area. Please note: The "Charge in time frame" mode is only available for AC charging sessions.
