Can I use the charging control of an open source platform such as Home Assistant for cost-optimised charging?

The "MINI CarData" interface can be used for open source platforms or customised solutions. It enables secure and GDPR-compliant access to vehicle data.

This means that users of open-source applications can continue to control their home automation systems using vehicle data. This requires the necessary vehicle parameters – such as the desired target state of charge – to be configured directly in the MINI App or in the vehicle.

These parameters are also displayed in the open-source application via the integration. Please check whether there is a suitable integration option for the open-source platform you are using.
