How do the electric drive and the high-voltage battery influence the drivability of a MINI electric vehicle?

The high-voltage battery is installed in the vehicle floor in MINI electric vehicles. The lower centre of gravity ensures even better roadholding. The electric drive delivers full torque from the first metre and accelerates the vehicle without any delays or gearshift pauses. A new traction electronics provides maximum grip. When energy recovery is activated, the vehicle slows to a standstill when releasing the accelerator pedal, thus enabling driving with a "one-pedal feeling".
