This reduces the energy required to control the temperature of the interior and high-voltage battery of your fully electric MINI. Particularly at low temperatures, the heat pump improves the efficiency of the heating and reduces its power requirement. As a result, the heat pump increases the range of electric vehicles. The efficiency of the heat pump depends on the outside temperature, the temperature of the high-voltage battery and the climate control in the vehicle.
