What benefits does the heat pump offer in my fully electric MINI?

The heat pump in your fully electric MINI extracts heat from the ambient air and the drive components, thus reducing the energy required to control the temperature of the high-voltage battery and the interior. The heat pump thus increases the range of electric vehicles. Please note: The efficiency of the heat pump depends on the outside temperature, the temperature of the high-voltage battery and the climate control in the vehicle.

 

The heat pump is part of the standard equipment of all MINI electric vehicles with production from 11/2019.
