Your MINI electric vehicle with Operating System 9 features a function to prepare the battery for faster DC charging. The high-voltage battery is brought to pre-set the temperature in advance of a scheduled DC charging stop. This allows the charging power to be increased immediately after connecting to the charging post and reduces the charging time.
Battery preparation for faster DC charging starts automatically when a DC charging station is selected as a navigation destination. You can also activate the function in the "Charging" menu. Vehicles with software version 07/2024 or later (ex works or via MINI Remote Software Upgrade) also allow activation via the MINI App.
