How do I manually activate the "Prepare battery" function in my MINI electric vehicle?

When route guidance to a DC charging station is active with MINI navigation, the battery is automatically pre-set. This does not apply if automatic activation has been deactivated in the "Prepare battery" menu.

The battery preparation for faster DC charging can be activated manually in the MINI Interaction Unit by navigating through the following menus:

  • Apps menu
  • “Charging”
  • "Settings"
  • "Prepare battery"
  • Select your desired setting.
A time value indicates how long the battery is expected to take to reach the target temperature. The actual duration may vary depending on energy requirements and the outside temperature.
