I have heard that according to the upcoming EU7 regulations, BEVs must have a capacity of 80% after 5 years/100,000 km and 72% after 8 years/160,000 km. Why is the guaranteed capacity for my MINI electric vehicle only 70%?

These figures will become an EU requirement and must be met for 90% of manufacturers' BEV fleets, not for individual vehicles. The MINI warranty applies to 100% of MINI vehicles.
