MINI how-to guide: This is how you register a MINI ID in the MINI portal.

Your MINI ID is your central login for all offers relating to the MINI brand and the use of personalised services from the BMW Group and digital services from MINI Connected. The personal data and settings for your MINI ID are stored in the MINI Cloud and synchronised in your MINI with Operating System 9, in the MINI App and in the MINI portal.

Requirements:

  • You need a valid e-mail address for registration.
  • You need access to your e-mail inbox.

Important notes:

  • A MINI ID may not yet exist for your e-mail address.
  • You can also register a MINI ID in the MINI App.
  • In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, one main user and maximum six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs.

Step 1:

Open the MINI web page of your country.

 

Step 2:

Select the profile icon in the menu bar.

 

Step 3:
Select "Register".

 

Step 4:

Enter your personal details, your e-mail address and a password and confirm with "Register now".

 

Step 5:

Open the e-mail with the sender "MINI ID" and confirm your registration by clicking on the activation button "Activate MINI ID now".
