What is the function of the LED ring around the control display in my MINI with a MINI Controller?

The LED ring around the control display in your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) shows you light animations depending on certain functions. Functions that are only displayed temporarily can be set as event displays, e.g. the display when adjusting the volume or temperature. Some assistance functions of your MINI can also be displayed on the LED ring. The display corresponds to the display of the function in the respective display. To set the LED ring, select the following in the MINI system: "My MINI" > "System settings" > "Displays" > "Central instrument" > "Basic display" or "Event display" and set the desired function.
