How does voice input work in my MINI?

Voice input in your MINI is performed by pressing the right button on the steering wheel (microphone button) with the corresponding icon. With MINI Connected, voice commands are processed by artificial intelligence in the cloud and your intelligent voice assistant works even more effectively. The intelligent voice assistant with online speech processing understands natural languages and no defined commands need to be used. You can activate Siri on your connected iPhone by long pressing the voice input button on the steering wheel. In MINI models with Operating System 9, you can also activate voice input with the activation word "Hello MINI".
