Which voice assistants can I use in my MINI with a MINI Controller?

By pressing the microphone button on the steering wheel of your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6), you can activate or stop controlling vehicle functions by voice input. In MINI vehicles with the option ConnectedDrive Services (SA 6AK), your voice commands are processed using "MINI online speech processing". Alternatively, you can activate the "Apple Siri" voice assistant on your connected smartphone by pressing and holding the microphone button on the steering wheel for 3 seconds. The availability and operating principle of voice assistants may vary depending on the model, country of delivery, production date and software version of your MINI as well as the optional equipment booked. Please note: For online speech processing, the SIM card of your MINI requires a mobile connection.
