Why does my MINI with Operating System 9 not have the Controller in the centre console?

MINI has learned from customer studies that the use of touch and language is becoming increasingly important. That is why MINI Operating System 9 has been consistently designed for the use of voice control and the touch function of the central instrument with OLED display ("MINI Interaction Unit"). In addition, important vehicle functions can be operated using control buttons on the standard multifunction steering wheel, in the instrument panel ("MINI Toggle Bar") and, depending on the model and equipment, in the operating units in the door trim panels and in the headlining.
