Does my MINI with Operating System 9 require a continuous Internet connection?

Yes. In order to use the full range of functions of MINI Operating System 9, such as the extended MINI navigation functions or the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, your MINI requires an Internet connection similar to other mobile devices. The mobile connection is established via a SIM card installed in your MINI and exists independently of the optional "MINI Connected Package".
