What restrictions do I have as a co-user of a MINI with Operating System 9?

In MINI vehicles with Operating System 9, one main user and up to six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs. The user who first adds the vehicle to their MINI ID is the main user. All other users are co-users with limited rights.

 

The following functions among others are only available to the main user:

  • Removing MINI IDs (co-users).
  • Transferring the role of the main user to another MINI ID.
  • Changing the privacy settings.
  • Creating the main digital key and sharing a MINI Digital Key.
  • Booking MINI Connected Upgrades in the MINI Connected Store.
  • Changing the preferred MINI Service Partner.
