What are the benefits of logging in to the vehicle with a MINI ID?

For unrestricted use of the MINI Connected digital services in your MINI, such as the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, you must be logged in to your MINI with your MINI ID. When you log in, the personal data and settings of the MINI ID are loaded from the MINI Cloud. If you have linked your vehicle key to your MINI ID or unlock your vehicle with the MINI Digital Key Plus, your MINI ID will be automatically logged in and you are greeted on the welcome screen with your profile name and profile image from the MINI App. Changes to vehicle settings such as entertainment, climate or seat settings, contacts and navigation destinations as well as display and driver assistance system settings are saved to your MINI ID. You can also load the personal data and settings for your MINI ID in other MINI vehicles. To activate automatic driver recognition, select the following on the MINI Interaction Unit: "MINI ID" (profile icon in the status field at the top right) > "Profile settings" > "Driver recognition". Follow the instructions and select the desired physical key or a smartphone for the MINI Digital Key Plus.

 

In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, one main user and maximum six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs.
