How can I protect the personal settings in my MINI with Operating System 9 from access by third parties?

In MINI models with Operating System 9, one main user and up to six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs. The stored MINI IDs are offered for selection to every user of the vehicle. To protect the personal data and settings of your MINI ID, you can set a "PIN protection". To do this, select the MINI ID icon or the profile image in the status bar at the bottom right in the central instrument ("MINI Interaction Unit"). Select your MINI ID and then: "Settings" > "Lock display" and enter a PIN.
