In MINI models with Operating System 9, one main user and up to six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs. The user who first adds the vehicle to their MINI ID is the main user.
As a co-user, you can use all the vehicle's important personalised functions. You can link a vehicle key to your MINI ID or unlock the vehicle with a shared MINI Digital Key. When you log in with your MINI ID, the personal data and settings of the MINI ID are loaded from the MINI Cloud. Changes to vehicle settings such as entertainment, climate or seat settings, contacts and navigation destinations as well as display and driver assistance system settings are saved to your MINI ID in the MINI Cloud. You can also load the personal data and settings for your MINI ID in other MINI vehicles with Operating System 9.
Please note: Some functions are only available to the main user, such as removing MINI IDs (co-users), transferring the role of the main user to another MINI ID, changing privacy settings, creating the main digital key and sharing a MINI Digital Key, booking MINI Connected Upgrades in the MINI Connected Store or changing the preferred MINI Service Partner.
