How do I log in with my MINI ID as a co-user in a MINI with Operating System 9?

In MINI vehicles with Operating System 9, one main user and up to six co-users can log in with their MINI IDs. The user who first adds the vehicle to their MINI ID is the main user. All other users are co-users with limited rights.

 

To log in as the main user or a co-user with your MINI ID, select "Add MINI ID" on the welcome screen or alternatively via the profile icon in the status field on the MINI Interaction Unit. Scan the displayed QR code with your smartphone. If you are logged in to the MINI App on your smartphone with your MINI ID, your MINI ID will now be added to the vehicle. Otherwise, you will be redirected to the mobile MINI web page where you can log in with the login data (e-mail, password) for your MINI ID or register a MINI ID. Please note: Your MINI must be stationary and requires a mobile connection. Avoid places with poor mobile phone reception, such as underground car parks.

 

If a main user is already saved for the vehicle and you log in to the vehicle as a co-user with your MINI ID or add the vehicle to your MINI ID in the MINI App, the main user will also receive a notification. The main user can view, manage and delete all saved co-users in the vehicle and in the MINI App.
