From what distance does the High-beam Assistant in my MINI detect other vehicles?

When the low-beam headlights are on, the High-beam Assistant in your MINI automatically switches the high-beam headlights on and off, or switches off areas that dazzle oncoming traffic. A sensor on the front of the interior mirror detects oncoming vehicles from a distance of 700 metres and vehicles in front from a distance of 400 metres.
