How do I adjust the headlights on my MINI for left-hand traffic?

Whether you can perform a changeover from right-hand traffic to left-hand traffic for your MINI headlights depends on the control system used.

  • MINI with ID4 or ID6:
    It is not possible to change over the headlights to right-hand or left-hand traffic. The headlight light distribution prevents the low-beam headlights from causing a dazzling effect, even when driving in countries with opposite traffic guidance. However, to avoid a dazzling effect on other road users, you should not drive with the High-beam Assistant activated.

  • MINI with Operating System 9:
    To avoid dazzling other road users and for the best possible illumination of the road, you can change the headlights to right or left-hand traffic. To do this, select the following on the MINI Interaction Unit: "Apps menu" > "Vehicle" > "Exterior lighting" > "Settings" > "Right/left-hand traffic".
