How can I fix Bluetooth® connection problems of my mobile device with my MINI?

The compatibility of mobile devices and the vehicle interfaces of your MINI (Bluetooth®, USB or Wi-Fi) can vary greatly depending on the mobile device. It depends on the hardware and software of your smartphone or tablet.

All MINI functions are based on industry-wide communication standards. If your mobile device does not support a standard, there may be limitations in the range of functions. Your smartphone or tablet can in certain cases not be operated via the vehicle interface. In special cases, sporadic faults may also occur. Factors that may play a role: The size of the phone book, the SIM card used, the respective network provider, different policies or the operating mode of the mobile device. The range of functions may vary depending on the country. Software updates of your mobile device can both fix and cause incompatibilities.

If there are connection problems, you can try deleting the connection between your MINI and your mobile device and then reconnecting the device.

MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 stay up to date with the latest technology via regular Remote Software Upgrades.
