Can I use the MINI navigation system in my MINI with a MINI Controller without restrictions while the navigation map is being updated?

Yes. The navigation system of your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) remains fully functional during an automatic or manual update of the map material. During a map update, you will see a download icon in the navigation map. After the data transfer is completed, the navigation system is automatically restarted. Active route guidance is terminated during the restart.
