Depending on the country of delivery and the equipment of your MINI, you can manually update the navigation map in your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6). To do this, you must use the MINI Download Manager to save a current map version to a USB stick. You can find the MINI Download Manager on the MINI web page of your country. After logging in with your MINI ID, click on the profile icon in the navigation bar and select "Vehicle overview". Select the option "Map update" for your vehicle and "To manual map update". Now you can install the MINI Download Manager on your computer. The MINI Download Manager guides you step by step through the process of downloading the navigation map onto a USB stick. Please note: The option "Map update" is only displayed for your vehicle if the "Map update" service is booked for your vehicle. You can only install the map data on your USB stick in the vehicle for which you have carried out the map update in the MINI portal.
