Can I pause the download of a Remote Software Upgrade for my MINI with Operating System 9 to my smartphone?

Yes. You can pause the download of a Remote Software Upgrade for your MINI with Operating System 9 to your smartphone via the MINI App and continue it at a later point in time. To do this, select the following in the MINI App: "Check status" ("Vehicle" tab) > "Remote Software Upgrade" ("Software" section) and "Pause download" or "Continue download". If you switch off your smartphone or switch to flight mode, for example, the download will be interrupted. The download will continue as soon as you are back online with your smartphone.
