Which download settings does MINI recommend for downloading a Remote Software Upgrade for my MINI with Operating System 9 to my smartphone via the MINI App?

To download a Remote Software Upgrade for your MINI with Operating System 9 to your smartphone via the MINI App, MINI recommends keeping the default settings "Download automatically" and "Download via Wi-Fi only". Software upgrades for your MINI can be 1 - 2 GB in size. Depending on your data account, downloading via the mobile communications network can therefore incur considerable costs. To change the settings, select the following in the MINI App: "Check status" ("Vehicle" tab) > "Remote Software Upgrade" ("Software" section) > "Download settings".
