How do I transfer a Remote Software Upgrade to my MINI with Operating System 9 after downloading it to my smartphone?

Once you have downloaded a Remote Software Upgrade to your smartphone via the MINI App, you can transfer it from there to your MINI with Operating System 9. You must connect your smartphone via Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi in the vehicle. During the next journey, the data is automatically transferred to your vehicle and the Remote Software Upgrade can then be installed. If you leave your vehicle before the transfer is complete, the process will continue on the next journey. During the transfer, you can use your vehicle and your smartphone without restrictions. You can check the status of the data transfer in the MINI App: "Check status" ("Vehicle" tab) > "Remote Software Upgrade" ("Software" section). At the end of your journey, tap on the notification of an available Remote Software Upgrade on the goodbye screen of the MINI Interaction Unit and follow the instructions for installation.
